If Don Crabb's Rumor Reality Report on MacCentral says it's true, then it MUST Be True. Apple and Disney must have struck some kind of deal that will be unveiled at iMacWorld Expo NY. Right? If they give it "credence" then it "MUST BE TRUE!" And no, RFI isn't talking takeover or merger. And never mind that: Mr. Crabb, MacCentral, et al; the collective "They;" said when RFI first reported such things. Back then, even the esteemed "They" all snorted in derision. "They" even went to lengths to dismiss such talk as idle fantasy.
Gee, does this remind you of the reaction's to RFI's "heresies" regarding Microsoft at Macworld Expo Boston '97? Remember the reactions to that before it happened? Could it be that they are just trying to get ahead of the news this time? Albeit obtusely? Who knows? Go figure.

Sorry for the levity. What a few short months ago was considered "Loony Tunes" is now being used to generate hype and interest as the official countdown to iMacWorld Expo NY gets close to "T Minus 00." It's totally amusing. But, we also observe that "The Windshield Wiper Effect" is not the sole purview of Wall Street. There's a lot of "Windshield Wiping" going on. Some might call it something else though....
RFI has been talking for months about Disney and Apple, as well as a potential presence at MWNY. We haven't changed our stance. Maybe Echo 4 decided to take down that "Mickey Apple" logo from Apple Recon too soon. Maybe Echo 4 should put it back up there as a reminder of "Yet Another Heresy" that was proven out by subsequent events.
"They" deserve a "Good Tweak on Their Nose" if they suddenly start talking about Disney and Apple. And, it serves them right.
